How Invisalign Clear Braces Work

Dr. Leung starts by taking x-rays and photos of your teeth using technology that produces a detailed, three-dimensional computer model of your teeth. Your customized treatment plan is developed to take into account the desired healthy position of each of your teeth.

Next, we take highly accurate, detailed impressions of your teeth and send them to the Invisalign lab. Using the impressions and the information gathered at your first visit, a customized series of clear plastic aligners are created that gently move your teeth into proper alignment.

You will wear each set of aligners for approximately two weeks, then move to the next set in the series. It’s easy to stay motivated throughout treatment as you see the progress each time you change aligners.

Your at-home treatment is supported by visits to our office at four-week intervals. During these visits we will monitor your progress and make any adjustments necessary.
