Our Team

Dr. Rich is a native of California, and it has always been his desire to provide quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxing environment. He graduated from the University of California in Riverside in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Business. After practicing financial consulting for five years, Dr. Rich went on to achieve his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Rich’s clinical skills stood out early on as faculty recognized his passion for dentistry and commitment to ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

Since earning his DDS, Dr. Rich has carried the same dedication to excellence into his career. He has pursued advanced level training in numerous areas. Some of these are Advanced CEREC (single-visit crowns), Short-Term Orthodontics (accelerated braces), Invisalign, and Sedation Dentistry. Dr. Rich is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Orthodontic Society.

As the owner of Temple Dental Trails, Dr. Rich brings all his knowledge and skills to our neighborhood, always working hard to maintain a high standard of care and office organization. When it comes to dentistry, patient comfort and experience is as important to Dr. Rich as the quality of care he delivers.

Dr. Rich is known for his gentle touch, compassionate nature and skill with dentistry. His passion is helping his patients overcome their dental fears. He also loves helping others feel better about their smiles and enjoys knowing all of his patients personally.

In his own personal life, Dr. Rich and his wife, Antonia, have a beautiful little girl and an amazing son. Dr. Rich has several hobbies, including basketball, weight training, taekwondo, and video games. He is an avid athlete as well as a caring husband and father. Focusing on the family is an important part of our practice philosophy and culture. Dr. Rich looks forward to getting to know you and your family!

Antonia was born and raised in Mesquite, TX and graduated from Rylie Academy. She is one of eight children, including five sisters and two brothers! Antonia loves to spend time with family and friends, enjoys watching movies, cooking authentic Mexican food, and shopping. One of her favorite things to do is to just spend time with her daughter and son, listening, singing, and dancing to their favorite music.

Antonia didn’t always know she wanted to work in the dental field. She became certain dentistry was the route she wanted to take after her first dental job because she always enjoys helping others. Antonia has been in the dental profession for over ten years and feels that dentistry enables her to ease patient fears while ensuring they get the care they need.

Antonia and Dr. Rich opened Temple Dental Trails in September 2012. As Practice Manager, Antonia prepares the office for the day, takes care of patients and their needs, manages the financial aspects, and makes sure the office remains clean and organized on a daily basis. She loves being a part of the team because she enjoys the other staff members and loves interacting with new patients everyday.

When asked what sets Temple Dental Trails apart from other practices she says, “We are different because we built our practice by putting our patients’ needs first and always strive to accommodate them the best we can. We are also like a little family, always there for each other and to help one another.”

Antonia thinks our patients would be surprised to know that she actually gets a bit nervous about going to the dentist, but she loves her job and considers herself blessed to be able to do what she loves while making a difference in peoples’ lives.

Jourdan is one of our exceptional Registered Dental Hygienists and has been practicing in the field of dentistry for two years. She received her professional training at Baylor College of Dentistry and is committed to helping her patients understand that good dental care doesn't just improve their oral health – it can actually enhance their quality of life.

Developing relationships is a priority for Jourdan because getting to know each of her patients personally helps her provide the care that best fits their individual needs.

Jourdan is a Dallas native and enjoys gardening, spending time with her husband, and reading.

Our talented Patient Coordinator, Cheri, is a local from Temple, Texas. She has a year of experience in the role and does a great job of helping patients. Cheri loves to watch how people are transformed with dentistry and to see the happy smiles of satisfied patients.

In her free time, Cheri likes to cook outdoors for family and friends, go swimming, hunt for arrowheads, and explore new places.

Erica is our experienced financial coordinator who has been in the dental field for over 15 years. She is most passionate about helping patients create the smile they want and deserve by helping them fit dental treatment into their budget.

Outside of the practice, Erica enjoys spending time with her son and husband, cooking for friends and family, and watching Texas Longhorn Football in the Fall.

Jennah is our helpful Dental Assistant and the newest member of our outstanding team. Jennah is a local girl who grew up in Temple and then stayed to attend Temple College. She loves the area so much that she has chosen to stay right here and provide her friends and neighbors with excellent dental care.

Jennah is always up for a new adventure and especially enjoys swimming and spending time with her husband and kids.

Melissa is a skilled Registered Dental Assistant and has been working in the dental field since 1995. She received her training at Texas State Technical College and specializes in IV Sedation and Oral Surgery, including dental implants. Melissa is committed to expanding her knowledge of dentistry and completes many hours of continuing education each year.

Melissa especially enjoys meeting new patients and helping them enhance their appearance and self-confidence with outstanding dental care.

A native of Gatesville, Texas, Melissa and her family enjoy camping, hiking, and target-shooting.

Jodi is our Registered Dental Assistant specializing in Orthodontics. She attended Pima Community College and is a native of Bay City, Texas.

She has been in the dental field for ten years because she is passionate about helping her patients achieve their best possible smiles. Jodi is especially happy to be working with a supportive team that is like a second family.

In her spare time, Jodi enjoys working out and spending time with her son and daughter. When the outdoors calls, you’ll find her kayaking and playing softball.

Bobby is a Registered Dental Assistant and has been practicing for the past three years. He is happy to be working in the field of dentistry where his skills positively impact our patients’ lives and self-confidence.

A native of Academy, Texas, Bobby enjoys spending his free time traveling and unwinding with paintball and video games.
